Meet the Founder

Anna Le (she/her) is a Fisheries Biologist, Environmental Educator, and Science Communicator focused on using place-based education to connect people to the outdoors to learn more about science and conservation to motivate and ignite stewardship and reciprocity for our planet.

When she’s not occupied with envisioning methods to gently disrupt the system, she spends her time reading non-nature-themed books, photographing wildlife, chasing sunsets, fly fishing, testing new recipes, stalking salmon, exploring new music while mindlessly doing art, road-tripping, and finishing her Master of Science degree (yes, it’s crazy she’s also in graduate school)!

Anna’s community-oriented thinking and childlike sense of curiosity about the world continue to inspire the work she strives to do, and she is constantly in awe of all the people, the small, beautiful things in life, and their interconnectedness.

Currently based in the Pacific Northwest, she calls the mossy temperate forests, vast coastlines, and emerald waters her home while she travels all over the West for adventures and to introduce the world to Grayling Education.

And she can’t wait to share it with you all!
